Dr. David Pfitzer is a highly experienced and credentialed dentist with over 33 years in general and cosmetic dentistry, including
20 years running a successful solo practice in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from Savannah, he began his career as a U.S. Army Soldier and professional diver before pursuing dentistry.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia following his undergraduate studies at North Georgia College.
During his military service, Dr. Pfitzer was stationed at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, where he met his wife, Martina. While living in Germany, he became a permanent resident, obtained his dental credentials, and continued to practice—serving both military and civilian families with dedication and compassion.
Now stateside once again, Dr. Pfitzer is proud to join the team at Orchard Hill Dental in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He and Martina have chosen Western North Carolina as their home, drawn by its beauty and community spirit. Dr. Pfitzer brings with him a wealth of experience, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm, gentle, and caring approach that helps patients feel at ease. His practice philosophy is rooted in kindness, precision, and personalized care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Pfitzer enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and outdoor activities. He is also an avid sport diver and a licensed private pilot.
